What's the right length of stay?

Regarding the length of stay, the ultimate goal is recovery without relapse from sobriety and healthy behaviors established in rehab. Cost concerns can make a shorter length of stay seem like a viable option, but it's critical to know that the The National Institute of Drug Abuse believes that “…for most patients, the threshold of significant improvement is reached at about three months of treatment.”

Austin Recovery offers a reduced rate to make this option available. If you have been in treatment before and relapsed or if you don’t have a good support system in your community or if you are depressed (as many people are in early sobriety) or if you have difficulty handling the everyday stress of life, we recommend you consider a stay of 90 days or more.

Terms:

  • Full payment is due upon admission.
  • Most major credit cards are accepted.
  • Checks must be approved by TeleCheck.
  • All lengths of stay are based on individual client need.
  • Should a client leave residential treatment against staff advice, or if they are asked to leave the facility, $1,000 will be charged for the first day of residential treatment and the program's daily rate per day thereafter.
  • There will be no refunds after 14 days of residential treatment.
  • Should a client leave detox treatment against staff advice or be asked to leave the facility, $750 will be charged for the first day of detox treatment and $420 per day for any additional days. For successful treatment, daily detox amounts will never exceed $420 per day. When a client is cleared by our medical team to transfer to residential treatment prior to day seven, unused paid detox days will be refunded to the payer at the daily rate of $420.
